Publication Ethics

Jagadhita Business Review (JBR) adheres to the ethical standards of scientific publication in accordance with the guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All parties involved in the publication process—editors, reviewers, authors, and the publisher—are expected to uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct.

1. Duties of Editors

  • Ensure a fair and objective peer-review process without discrimination based on gender, religion, ethnicity, or institutional affiliation.

  • Maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts.

  • Prevent conflicts of interest and refrain from using unpublished materials for personal research.

  • Make publication decisions based solely on the academic merit, relevance, and originality of the work.

2. Duties of Reviewers

  • Provide objective, constructive, and timely feedback to enhance the quality of submitted manuscripts.

  • Maintain confidentiality and avoid using any part of the manuscript for personal advantage.

  • Declare any potential conflicts of interest with the authors or their affiliated institutions.

3. Duties of Authors

  • Ensure that submitted manuscripts are original, have not been published elsewhere, and are free from plagiarism.

  • Properly acknowledge all sources, references, and contributors.

  • Clearly disclose any financial support or funding sources related to the research.

  • Cooperate with editors during the peer-review and revision process.

4. Duties of the Publisher

  • Ensure the integrity and transparency of the publication process.

  • Support full editorial independence.

  • Address complaints, disputes, and ethical issues in accordance with COPE guidelines.
